Google Map styling - change colour?

I am aware of the map style function in custom.js - but there seems to be a base colour (red?) that shows up once I remove the blue hex#. Seems also the code is written in a way with "" that makes the other options useless. Any one have any ideas how to change the base colour to a grey? (I've already tried adding saturation: -100).

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi, change this:
    Code:
    styles: [{"stylers":[{"hue": "#2db4d8", "lightness" : 100}]}]
    to this:
    Code:
    styles: [{"stylers":[{"lightness" : 0, "saturation" : -100}]}]
    That worked for me.

    Hello Henny,

when doing direct file customizations, you need to make sure JS Compression is set to No in Theme Options panel -> Advanced. Let me know if that fixes your problem.
