    Get rid of the TV effect on Home Slider

    Hi guys,

    I searched a bit on the forum to find an answer to my question.
    Can I get rid of the TV filter on home slider?

    As I did not find any thread about that I decided to create one.

    So is that possible?

    Many thanks,

    Aline.

    Hi,

    Add this to your Custom CSS field in Theme Options panel:
    Code:
    .vegas-overlay {
        display: none;
    }
    That should do the trick

    Many thanks for the quick answer. It did the trick perfectly.

    I have 2 more questions:

    Is that possible to change the Home slider text color? And how do this? (you can check the wip site here: alinehd.com)
    Is that possible to change the project order? (maybe by changing the publication date?)

    Hi,

    1. To change the text color in the ticker add the following code to Custom CSS field, replace "red" with the color of your choice

    Code:
    #home .ticker h1 {
    color: red;
    }
    2. I can give you some code that will arrange the tags alphabetically.

    Thanks so much for your help.

    I have another question (as I advance, I face some new difficulties)

    As you can see on this site on the home slide, I would like to place a logo in the home slider (above the slider).
    How can I manage to do it?

    Many thanks!

    Hi,

    I checked your site and see there's a logo already showing above the slider.

    Hi,

    Please follows the steps outlined below

    1. Open <theme folder>/headlines.php, on line 28 add the following code

    Code:
    <div id="logo-alinehd">
    	<img src="/wp-content/themes/visia/images/logo.png">
    </div>
    Please change the path above to point to your logo

    2. Add the following code to Custom CSS field

    Code:
    .logo-alinehd {
    margin-top: 130px;
    margin-bottom: 80px;
    }
    Tweak the values as desired.

    Thank you very much.

    I tried to align the logo on the next-prev buttons line by tweaking the margin-top but it had no effect.
    I would also like to ad space between the logo and the text.

    you can check the page here: alinehd.com

    many thanks for your precious help.

    Hi,

    Apologies, please change

    Code:
    .logo-alinehd {
    margin-top: 130px;
    margin-bottom: 80px;
    }
    to

    Code:
    #logo-alinehd {
    margin-top: 130px;
    margin-bottom: 80px;
    }
