    Landing/Home Page Layout - Horizontal Dotted Dividing Lines [SOLVED]

    Hi there Ante,

    You helped me to add horizontal lines between the different sections on the home page for the first site I used Rework on. (I wasn't sure whether to use the same thread on this forum).

    I have used exactly the same custom css and child theme files for each, but the second one has no horizontal dotted dividing lines between the sections.

    I have gone into page-home.php to try to see if there are any differences between these php pages of the two sites, but they seem identical.

    First Site:

    I've inspected both in the browser and it seems that the 2nd site is not receiving the same instruction as the first.

    Second Site:

    URL: http://lyndltd.com/newsite/specialis...works-support/

    I'm sure it's something simple that I'm just not seeing. Would you be able to look at it for me please? Of course I don't have a choice... this will be my last request.

    Thank you for your sterling work. It's been a pleasure 'working' with you. Are you supporting any of Pixel Entity's other sites? If so I will feel comfortable using them.

    Thank you again!

    Hi there,

    the reason it does not work is that the page you are now trying to add borders to is not set as the front page, so it does not get class .home which was used in css I previously gave you.

    You can use this css instead:

    Code:
    .page-template-page-home-php #content > div {
    border-top: 1px dotted #CCCCCC;
    margin-top: 40px;
    padding-top: 30px;
    font-size: 13px;
    }

    And thank you for your comments. Yes, I do support all other themes by both bitfade and pixelentity ThemeForest authors (both on this same forum).

    Fantastic Ante! Really massively appreciated!!

    I'll make sure to stick to those ranges of themes for future sites.
