Safari on MacBook retino with no BackGround Video

My Website www.bhboutique.com.br works fine on Chrome and Firefox.

However, the video background does not show up on Safari. It just get a blank background, no fallback image either.

It seems to be working fine, however, on Safari with non-retina Macbook computers. The same youtube Video, when placed on page as a Video View, works without problems on Safari on any type of Mac (see www.bhboutique.com.br/moradia).

What could be wrong with it?

Hello, can you please try updating the script used for the YouTube playback.

You will find it here: wp-content/themes/oneup/framework/js/jquery.mb.YTPlayer.js

Simply replace the contents of that file with this:
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pu...mb.YTPlayer.js

Make sure you disable JS Compression in Theme Options -> Advanced

It didn't work. I already had the latest version of the Theme. Yet, even replacing the jquery.mb.YTPlayer.js did not did solve it. Javascript compression is disabled.

    Hi,

I just tested your website in Safari on my macbook (Safari version is 10.0.2) and the background video works. Which version of Safari are you using, and have you tried clearing the browser cache after you did the script update?

    I have solved the problem!

It was indeed a problem with Safari installation on my computer. I just exported my favorites, went to library and library/Saved Application State and deleted both Safari folder and com.apple.Safari.savedState respectively. It is now running just like it does on any other browser.

    Thanks for you help!
