    Jump Links

I enjoyed the flexibility of theme so I purchased another license to replace another theme that has been giving me problems.

I have been having issues on a one page design getting custom anchor links to connect to the page content. I would like the nav links to link to content sections —*as well as the footer.

I named the content areas correctly (i think) and use the "# + page name" for the anchor link in the menu but it does not link.

I renamed the footer reservations and added catering as a section. I tried #footer as a the link for the form at the bottom of the page and it does not work. I am probably missing something simple...

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello, apologies for missing your thread.

Do you still need help with this?

Hi, I need help with this actually. My site is www.prestigetraining.com, and I'm trying to make it so "about" on the menu scrolls down to the about section on my home page, when clicked on at any time. The same goes for "gallery" and "reviews." How should I go about doing this? The sections are named "about" "reviews" and "gallery" just as I'd like them to read on the top menu.

    Thank you!!

Hi, Try removing the "#" character from the fields, this is automatically added by the theme's js. So to scroll to a section, you fill out the name of the "link" field in the builder and then in the menus admin, you choose the page menu item, the one which contains the section you wish to link to, add this to your menu and then place the same text into the "section" field as you placed into the builder's "link" field. No # needed anywhere. Here's a screenshot of our about menu item (from demo): http://pasteboard.co/6cDgguhk8.png

    Hello @Donagh,
do these links also work from within e.g. body text?

    Thanks,
    Jeroen

Hi, Yes they should work also from body text, just make sure to insert a full url into the link, ending in the section's ID eg. http://momentum.themes.tf/#about (to scroll to the about section in our preview - obviously your url will be different). You may have to view the page source to find the correct id for a section.
